I will overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua
Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really happening.
